Vigilantism decried by former president Bush

NBC news just read a statement by the former president Bush, denouncing the abhorent attacks on innocent Arab Americans. I personally thank him for the initiative. The small minded perpetrators of such actions are adding insult to the injury. The civil rights of citizens are being violated by these acts of anger. I do not suscribe to George W. Bush and his party affiliation, but on this occasion I am totally in agreement with him. He displayed this admirable trait once before by resigning from the NRA after untoward remarks by the president of the NRA regarding the character of Federal Law Enforcement members folowing Waco. Thank you George Walker Bush for taking the high road.

I would like to see President Bush make some sort of similar statement to remind people of this. We shouldn't misdirect our anger at innocent Arab Americans. They are just as American as anyone else.

I'm a registered Democrat but I've always admired George W. Bush. I think I even crossed party lines and voted for him.

We shouldn't misdirect our anger at ANY INNOCENT Arabs, period. They are just as human as anyone else.
