Viewsonic VX924 w/ subwoofer

I know CRT monitors are susceptible to interference from objects that produce magnetic fields, but what about LCD's? I have a Viewsonic VX924, and I was wondering if it would be safe to place the my non-magnetically shielded subwoofer directly under my desk.
