Viewsonic VX924 4ms - Website says $499 MSRP - What will we be able to buy it for?

I'm trying to figure out if I should go with the Hyundai L90D+ now - for about $350 or should I wait on the 4ms Viewsonic out in May. I'm just wondering if it will be $499 MSRP or will it be cheaper from online sites? THANKS!!!

Hard to say; depends on demand and how quickly they can crank the things out. If supply is low and everybody and their mother wants one, prices could easily be higher than MSRP for a few months (see all video card releases in the last year, for example). I would not count on getting it much under MSRP right away.

So is the new Samsung 930B.
Originally claiming 4ms gray-to-gray. Now speced as 8ms nominal.
Just picked one up and testing out. All I know is it is damn fast.
$470 - $90 mail-in-rebate = $380 final cost at BestBuy this week.
So far very impressed.

is there any motion blur in games with that samsung panel?

Either way I'd still vote for waiting on the VX924 to see how it compares, if its a whole lot better than it would be worth the extra $50.

So does anyone have a Viewsonic VX924 yet? I don't think it's available just yet from what I can find, but maybe someone got one already, just checking.

It's amazing to think that these 4ms 19" LCDs are $450-$500. Just a year or two ago, if you wanted a 19" LCD with even crappy response time you were dropping 7 to $800.
