Hola,

This deal ends today (8/25) but I didn't see it posted (and I just took advantage of it) so here goes.

www.jr.com has this TFT right here http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Product=3989610, it says $589.88 AR but if you scroll to the bottom there is the $100 and $50 MIR that stack (the $50 says in the fine print that it can be used with the $100 rebate). Shipping is $24 but I got them to nix that with a little cajoling. Tax is NY State only. Their site says the VX910 is 25ms but it's actually 16ms (typ), so take that for what it's worth. Reviews and reports suggest insignificant ghosting and a decent image, so it's a good deal for ~$540.

Regards,

Kevin

How do you know it's actually 16ms i/o 25ms?

Another option is the cheaper Dell 1901FP for $513 with free shipping (that is until the 20% and $30 off $300 coupons expire).

Nice deal, thanks for posting. I love Samsung monitors!

Viewsonic's website says 16ms (typ) (here is a link http://www.viewsonic.com/products/desktopdisplays/lcddisplays/xseries/vx910/ ) , so I assume it means an average of 16ms. Most 16ms monitors are the same way but the manufacturers leave off the (typ) part. Generally it reviews like a 16ms TFT too, and from what I've seen (though admitedly only about 15 minutes at a crummy Best Buy display) the ghosting seems minimal, similar to my Samsung 712n (which is 12ms, but analog only).

That Dell deal is nice too - is that also a 16ms TFT?
