Viewsonic VX900

I posted this over in 'Video' but nobody has responded. I need info on this ASAP after having read mostly positive reviews but a few negative.

I have a friend who is willing to sell me a slightly used Viewsonic VX900 for $400. I know that's a great deal and I really want to get an LCD after browsing at them for so long.

The specs on the monitor look great and I was just wondering if anybody here owned one and could testify to its performance?

I'm aware its 25ms and I'm not terribly worried about ghosting unless it's very drastic.

None listed, unfortunately. I haven't found any reviews by a major hardware site so I don't want to be stuck with an inferior monitor because I was misinformed. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I have this monitor and am using it right now.

It's much better than the Dell 1800FP that everyone has been clamoring about. I've used the 1800FP, and and it's nowhere as sharp as this VX900.

Take a look at the specs - the contrast ratio, brightness, etc.

I don't game a lot, but haven't had any problems with strategy games like Warcraft.

If you can purchase this at $400 then it's a steal.
