Hi,
I just got a Viewsonic VX2336S-LED to share among 2 PCs running Win7.
The monitor is connected to PC1 via D-SUB, and connected to PC2 via DVI.
In addition, another monitor is being shared by the 2 PCs via a KVM switch(D-SUB).
The Viewsonic is working fine on PC1 (though picture quality is quite bad with the KVM). However, on PC2, it works all the way until Win7 boots up (boot up screen, BIOS, the "Starting Windows" screen are all displayed fine) then it becomes a black screen.
After this, the monitor becomes unresponsive. OSD doesn't work, I can't figure out a way of switching back to D-SUB input, and even a power cycle doesn't do anything. I basically just mash the buttons and wait until the monitor decides to switch back to D-SUB.
Does anyone have experiencing getting this monitor to work in this situation?
Thanks.
