I searched and it seems everyone is saying the 20.1" widescreens are worth it for gaming (which I do alot of) and for movies. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this screen. tom's hardware seemed to hate 20.1" screen for movies and games so I'm wondering if the quality varies alot from screen to screen. My brother has the non widescreen version and loves this monitor. Thanks in advance!

The only reason to get a widescreen of the same resolution at a bigger monitor size is if you have eyesight problems and more money to burn. If you get a smaller of the same resolution you get a better pixel pitch.

Ok to answer my (and any future) questions the screen is amazing. The first one had a dead pixel and visibly wavy interference (like it had been dropped) so I went back and exchanged it. The new one is amazing. No dead pixels, great color/contrast. Really nice blacks. LotR played GREAT last night, BF2142 and CS:S look amazing (especially source in widescreen), Eve online in widescreen is great. I really have 0 complaints after my first 24hrs. If that changes I'll say somethingbut I doubt it will.
