Viewsonic VX2025wm or VX2235wm?

Recently I've been thinking about buying a new monitor. A widescreen LCD ranging from 20" to 22".

Researching for days while at the same time thinking about my budget ( $350ish~ ) I came across these two monitors.

I took a good look at their specs at Viewsonic's website and came to a confused conclusion.
For $20 more I can get the VX2235wm but getting lower contrast ratio and less brighter.

This is where I'm just confused out of my mind, is it worth using around $20 more to get a 22" but having less contrast ratio and the monitor being less brighter than the Viewsonic VX2025wm?

Or if anyone has another suggestion for monitors, feel free to tell me!
Because I'm not too expert about monitors...

I will be using the monitor mainly for gaming and watching stuff~ Not planning to do any photoshop designs and such.

Please help me!

That 20" is going to be horrible for gaming, because of it's response time. 8ms gray-to-gray is horrible. So, either pick another brand, or get the Viewsonic 22".

I just picked up my Viewsonic vx2235wm from Costco for $299.99 on Oct 21.

I'm very satisfied with my 22" Viewsonic. It's the best deal I've seen out there for a 22".

how is the vx2025wm horrible for gaming? i own one and it games greatly.
imo the bezel of the 22' viewsonic doesn't look as good. and due to the bigger area, the pixels will look stretched out and a little more blurry.
i have no exp with 22' tho, just theory

I own a VX2025wm and it's great for gamming.
