Viewsonic VX2025WM issue

I picked up a vx2025wm last night from a b&m. took it home and set it all up and at first, i was absolutely stunned. the picture is gorgeous and it is huge. after a little bit of use i started to notice a problem with the right side. it seems like there is a backlight issue, and it looks a bit darker on that side than the rest. also, especially on gray backgrounds, the right side has a bit of reddish tinge to it. i took two photos of a blank firefox window to see if you guys think i am right or just seeing things. i'm at work so hopefully these pictures will show up as i can't access them, so please let me know if the links are bogus.

idk man, the first pic looks good.
there is problems with backlight bleeding, only on completely black screens tho, maybe you should exchange it for a new one?

exchanging is no problem, except that this was the last one they had so it may take a little longer for one to come in. i just didnt want to go through the hassle if i was just seeing things, so that's why im trying to get opinions. thanks for your input!

It's not backlight bleeding, it's just the nature of the screen. Look at those sections of the screen from head-on, and they'll appear completely black, meaning that it's just a quirk rather than bleeding or anything defunct.

in actual use, or when colors are being displayed, this is entirely un-noticable, at least in my experience with the monitor.

The second picture looks like you're looking through a screen door, but that's about all I can tell. As far as backlight bleeding, maybe some pictures of darker screens would let us see it better.

the second picture i think was just due to glare or something since the screen has a little bit of shimmer. maybe ill try taking some more pictures when i get home today and maybe play with it a little more. i know this is somewhat of a subjective thing and it's difficult for anyone to tell over the internet, but i definitely appreciate all of your help.
