Directron has the Viewsonic VX2025WM widescreen (1680X1050 resolution) LCD monitor on sale for $289.99. Since I just bought one from ZZF for $347.95, this looks like a great price on a terrific monitor.
Mine is extremely bright, clear and trouble-free. No dead pixels, either. I do not use the built-in speakers, so I can't report on them, but the screen is great!
The stand only allows a slight angle adjustment, no height adjustment or swiveling is available. 800:1 contrast ratio, 176 degree viewing angle, 8ms grey-to-grey response time. Has both VGA and DVI inputs, sound input and power cord input. Both VGA and DVI cords are included. 3-Year warranty.
NOTE: Directron allows replacement only for 5 or more dead pixels. Mine has NONE.
