Viewsonic vp201 vs Dell 2001fp

What are the diffrences between these 2 monitors. I think I read somewhere thare they had the same parts. Could someone please clearify this rumor. Thanks.
 
Currently they both use the same 16ms panel, but the 2001FP offers a 4 port USB hub, S-Video, and Composite Video connectors.
 
besides the extra features dell includes, their the exact same displays. their made from same manufacturer, and i forgot who.
 
They're the same panel. Aside from the widgets, the main difference is having people say, "Oooh, so even you computer guys buy Dells huh? I didn't know your computer was a Dell." You will never convince them that only your monitor is a Dell.

lol, good point. ouch for us dell haters. anyways, you cant judge a monitor by its looks. you gotta get to know it first. 😛

I looked at the Viewsonic next to a Samsung 213t. The Viewsonic has like a grid superimposed on it. I assume that's the "screen door" effect you always hear about.
