Anyone have any experience with this monitor? I just used it on the dvi connection with my leadtek ti4200 at a lan party this weekend without adjusting any contrast or anything, but graphics looked especially good and vivid...EXCEPT dark areas were too dark. I didn't notice any ghosting either and the monitor was running at 85hz..is that normal? Come on, what's the skinny on this monitor anandtech?!
 
Unless they updated it, its not a new monitor. I have a VP191 (going on 3 yrs now I think) and its been great all round. It doesn't do as well with grey to grey transitions as my Planar 20 - i.e. some motion blur that some will find troubling in FPS games, but has excellent lighting and good color (needs a little red tweaking in Powerstrip to get just right). 1024x768 native and again does not scale as well as the newer Planar (1650x1200). The VP191 is rotatable to portrait mode - not sure if the 181 does that too.
