Viewsonic VG191 and Counter Strike?

I am seriously thinking about this monitor, but I'm wondering if anyone has used it to play Counter Strike? Half-Life's maximum resolution is 1280X968 (4:3 resolution) and I'm worried that this panel won't look good running the 4:3 resolution when it is designed for 5:4.

I have the 191b, and don't play Counter Strike, but I do play Max Payne, and my 191b scales down to 1024/ very nicely. Hope this helps.

uh 1280x960, and 1024x768 are both 4 by 3 arent they? the panel runs at 1280x1024 i think, usually you can put it in that mode, where it doesnt stretch. then it'd just cut off a few pixels on the top and bottom

Yes they are.

It does not appear that this panel supports lower resolutions w/out stretching them to fill the screen. So all 4:3 resolution games will be stretched.
