Viewsonic VG180 CCFL replacement

Trying to replace the CCFL on a old Viewsonic VG180. Have taken the LCD apart and can see where the CCFL connect to the CCFL invertor. However I can't removal the CCFL reflector with the CCFL. I thought the CCFL reflector w/CCFL just slide into a channel. Am I missing something.
