Viewsonic VA520 Display (Worth $200)??

Best Buy has these on sale for around $200 after rebates. I can only find a few reviews on this product. Anyone have any experience with one of these displays??

I am looking at this monitor too at Best Buy. They were sold out yesterday or Id have one already. But I have a very basic question. First I know nothing about monitors. Someone at work told me I couldnt use an lcd monitor with my computer. 3 yr old Gateway 700Mhz running Win 98, 384mb ram. I upgraded vid card a while back to GeForce3 Ti200 128mb. Can I use this monitor?
