I have a viewsonic VA2012wb monitor.
If I boot into safe mode the monitor displays the way it's supposed to.
If I boot into normal mode it will not display anything but a black screen, no message reguarding going out of range or saying that it's not getting input.
If I connect another monitor to the computer it will boot into normal mode without a problem.
I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the nvidia drivers.
When you uninstall and reinstall it sets the display to 60 hz and to 800x600. Even after doing this the viewsonic will not display anything after the windows screen with the loading bar at the bottom.
I really don't know what this could be.
Could it be that the computer is detecting the viewsonic monitor and then trying to force some incorrect settings on it? If so how would I clear everything out so that it does not do that?
