Viewsonic PF790?

I was going to purchase a sony g400 for $415 + shipping at mwave.com, but I couldn't, It was just too much. But then I saw the Viewsonic PF790 at $280 + $17 shipping at http://www.computers4sure.com/product.asp?ProductID=120634&CatID=96 , the down side is that its refurbished. Should I buy the viewsonic? How does it compare with the G400? Im using it for gaming.. I doubt ill run at 1600*1200, but probably at 1280.
