Newegg has this for 654.00. Does anyone have this monitor, and if som what do you think about it. Or if you don't own it maybe you've seen it, anything I just hate to plunck down that much money for a monitor I've never laid eyes on. But when you live in central KY no dealers have these monitors. I was going to get a LCD but from the post I've read on here it doesn't seem to be a good thing to switch to a LCD yet. Any input would be great.

I have the 19" version of that monitor (the P95f). It's very, very nice. Everyone that comes over and uses the computer comments about it.

I'd go for it, if you have the money.

I had been saving for about three months to get a 19'' LCD, so I've got about 1000 to spend. But it sure would be nice to have some of it left.

Yes good choice. Get the CRT now, and in 1-2 years (or possibly less), technoligy will have caught up for the LCDs and you can pickup a nice 19" or 21" gaming LCD for ~$500

What? My monitor is like $250 now. It's the 19" version of the one the original poster is asking about.

Wow, you are only $70 away from the Mitsubishi DP2070-BK DiamondTron 22" Flat CRT Monitor - a monitor that you'll definitely be happy with.

I for one couldn't wait and got me an 17" LCD, don't see the need for a 21" yet. In any case, why buy a monitor and then in one or 2 years get another? The monitor I had, before it died, I had for about 6 years and it was a great monitor. I plan on the LCD lasting at LEAST that long, if not longer. Maybe it's just me, but the monitor is something that I don't think needs upgrading as much as the rest of your computer.

I have a ViewSonic 21" P810 (.25m, 1600x1200) that is 7 years old a and still runs like brand new. You'll love that 22" P225FB Aperture Grille monitor! That's gonna be my next one if this monitor ever dies (which I doubt, it being a ViewSonic and all).:)

Thanks guys that helps a lot, but that Mitsubishi makes the choice harder now.

Viewsonic is using NEC/Mitsubishi tubes on the 22" monitors. I am using a PF815(22") and have had no problems.
