According to viewsonic, this monitor should be able to do 1856x1392 at 75Hz

I can get the monitor to go into 1856x1392 but I can't get it any higher than 60Hz. When I try for 70 or 72Hz my screen goes black and loses power. Does anyone know of a way to get this screen into its' optimal resolution/refresh rate? Any info is appreciated.
