I think it's just meant to be a TV so maybe it really is 640x480? I wouldn't bother buying this as a monitor 😉
 
It doesn't have vga port so as a computer monitor it would be pretty worthless.

As to the $50 coupon, it applies in the basket but once you try to place the order it gives you an error

There is another rebate for this now. I was gonna get one and I tried the $50 coupon, and it will show it OK in the cart, until you press the button to complete the order, and get a message that the order isn't over $500.

wow 640x480...isn't that bad?

 
The TV itself is pretty good. We hooked up a PC through S-video and the resolution is 800x600. Not like it's useable. It's still fuzzy. It would be great for playing AVI files, though.
