Viewsonic Monitor problem

i have viewsonic pf790 for over 3 years. In the past few days, this monitor *sounds* stick so soon and nothing shows up AFTER my computer beep.

when i turn it off and on again, the only thing that i see is a dark screen even though there is a green light.

i haven't seen "no signal" message either. What should i do.?

obviously, there is something wrong with the comp and not the monitor. find out what that beep means hopefully a piece of you hardware is not dead.
