Simple

LCDs always have the same number of pixels as thier maximum resolution

Dot pitch is not a feature that you can compare across 17" LCDs since all 5:4 aspect 17" LCDs have the same dot pitch with the same maximum resolution, so most manufactures don't bother to list it.
