ViewSonic GS790 monitor

I am wondering how good is it? I know this monitor is made in 2000 I have googled and see some so so reviews about this 19in crt monitor. I understand it is mainly for CAD/Graphic. Any good with games?

well i personally used to use that crt, i still have it mater of fact and I thought it was a great monitor. It's old school but its still sweet. CRTs dont have ghosting problems like LCDs do, oh and that monitor can do 1600x1200 at a 60 refresh rate. It's good for games.

I had the PS790 which is very similiar. Very good monitor. However the P95f+ I have now really rocks other than some geometry issues.
If you have the desk space and the price is right, then go for it.

Ironically, im staring into that monitor right now at work.

It seems alright... I don't like it but thats me. I'd prefer a AG monitor and this is not flat.

It can however, do a decent range of resolutions. But this one seems to have some convergence problems.

I look two different than 10 yr old NEC MultiSync 17 inch monitor and GS790 I noticed GS790 is very clear and very nice to read while working on Photoshop. I guess I excited too much with GS790 because I had NEC monitor for a long time.
