I was reading some news articles and was surprised by some of the opinions being expressed by people who usually dont show up on the media radar screen here in NA atleast!.

These are the people from non-muslim developing countries. Generally its been well covered that people in muslim countries are/were opposed to the war and that in US majority supported it while in western europe most were opposed to it on humantarian grounds!

But what about people from latin america? South Asia (India, Srilanka etc)? South east Asia (Thailand, Singapore etc) ?

I doubt that ever one has the same opinion in those areas but i atleast would be interested in knowing whats the popular view of this war?

Judging by the media, it seems as if India's against the war (probably because they know the USA won't allow India to pre-emptively strike Pakistan, which they want to do) while Sri Lanka supports it (probably since they have no reason to question/defy the US, or perhaps because Richard Armitage has "blessed" the new peace initiative by taking a personal interest in it's success and approving more USAID funds to the country) while at least one South American country, Guyana, appears to be oblivious to any war in Iraq as you can find no reports on it whatsoever on their main online newspaper's website.

I'm guessing Indonesia is "against" perhaps along with Malaysia as well. Purely because the majority of the populace is Muslim after all.
