Viewing threads listed in search results and clicking back to

You do a search, get a list of threads as a result. Click on a link to view the thread, when done you hit back to go back to the list of threads that resulted from the search. Instead of the result list you get a warning page expired error and you have to hit Refresh to make it appear again.

This happens in IE, but not Firefox. I prefer to use IE so please don't say "use Firefox" as the answer.
