View your Playstation trophies from Playstation.com

I posted in the thread discussing Xbox gamerscore about this but figured I'd share it with everyone in a new thread.

According to the Playstation Blog:

If you haven?t already signed in to PlayStation.com using your PSN ID, you?re definitely going to want to tomorrow (sign in here). When we introduced PlayStation Trophies last year we promised we would be extending the feature to the web. We are near ready to release our first phase which will allow you to view your PlayStation Trophies on PlayStation.com with all of the details you can see on your PS3. Later this year, we?ll enhance these features giving you the ability to compare and sort trophies in new ways.

Also in the blog entry is a video demonstrating the new functionality.

Looks like a nice addition. It's nothing spectacular, but I like using Xbox.com to look at achievements and look forward to doing the same thing on Playstation.com. Especially because it seems to take so long to view them from the XMB (particularly if I want to look at other player's trophies and compare them to mine).

UPDATE: The trophies functionality is now live on Playstation.com.

Took them long enough. Too bad you can't see your entire game list on one page. I really don't have many trophies though. At least no platinums and only 3 gold.

It's now live. Pretty basic, you can view your trophies and that's about it. Doesn't seem to be a way to link to your trophies so others can view them, or for you to view your friend's trophies. Not yet, anyway.

Do you have to sign in to the PS3 first before they can be uploaded/synced, or are they already on the server?

i cant even log into my PSn account, after i enter my credentials that little login screen that pops up just turns white and stays there.

okay it went through.

so can you not view your friends trophies? i can see my friends list but can't see their trophies.

if not, this is full of fail!

Did you read the OP? Comparing with friends is coming soon.

oh i read it as enhancing the ability to compare and list from what they already had.
