"View Source" doesn't display the HTML source code in IE6.

I've had a browser problem for quite a while where selecting "View Source" doesn't display the source code from the page. It doesn't work on any page. The browser setting is set to use Notepad to display HTML Source code, though I've tried changing it to other options to no avail. If I try to reinstall IE6, it just tells me that everything is up to date.

Any suggestions? I'd like to be able to look at some source.
