I finally got a chance to put these online...Well, let me know what you think..I finished these last semester but only recently had a chance to get them converted from film to video... Thanks for checking it out guys

Hey ross, thanks for the info and, yep, I got the account.. only problem is that I have no idea how to use it! I didn't want to rely on it 100% so I signed up with ripplehost (planning to use his server as a backup/storage thingy).. I have no idea how to do this though.

Dude, my professor didn't even bother teaching us how to use the light meter until after our 3rd project! sigh, well, I did my best.. that was from film production 1.. I'm a senior but just took my first 16mm course... My school is sadly 100% DV now (ok, 99.1%)...

thanks for the compliments and, yes, NYC is a great pace to shoot - though we were chased by a knife wielding homeless guy during our first shoot!

I can show you how to use it assuming he set up your account properly.

You just need his name servers, go to your domain registrar and update to his name servers. Everything else is exactly the same (cpanel wise).

hey ross. can I keep ripplehost as the primary and secondary name server yet still kinda link to the site? in other words, I want to just store auxillary files on his server ... i'll pm you with the info in a 2nd..

I don't think that would work but you could (if he allows) link to www.hisdomain.com/~yourusername and host your files there using his bandwidth rather than your RippleHost account.
