After reading this article about his invention, I was left curious what makes it a better mouse trap?

At least they are clean rice eating vermin.

They mentioned that in the article:

"Paddy rats -- a healthier grain fed animal than their city cousins -- are prepared in a variety of ways nationwide depending on the province, often grilled or steamed with lemongrass."

Judging by the pictures, those rats get to a pretty good size. If you're going to eat rat, make sure it is organic and free range!
