Vietnamese Ice coffee.

I don't think there is any such thing as Vietnamese ice coffee. It's actually french (drip) coffee.

So it's basically just coffee with ice, cold? I hate cold coffee. Those Vietnamese guys like everything cold b/c it must be hot where they live, I think (that's why bubble tea exists maybe).

You are partly right, the French had drip coffee, but it was the Vietnamese who added condensed milk and ice to the mix.

Bubble tea comes in a hot variety as well 😉

As for Viet ice coffee, from what I can recall, it's very similar to a Thai tea, right? Just ice with some drink, add condensed sweetened milk. Good stuff.

ugh, why do they hafta call it bubble tea... boba/tapioca drinks originated from Taiwan, not Vietnam, and come in hot and cold...

back to the topic. i wouldn't compare it to starbucks. i drink it for its extra bitterness
