And I gotta say, once again, good gaming here guys~!

I didn't understand the map in the demo, I couldn't figure out which direction I was supposed to go. My radar didn't have a star or anything to guide me to my objective. I couldn't find my squad, as they seemed to spread out way far behind me. I move REALLY slow through the brush, and I thought the whole thing was pretty boring. Plus the iron sights seem off, somehow. I couldn't hit anything with them, and I've played plenty of CoD and AA.

I just played the demo, but I have to give this game a thumbs down. Graphics were ok, but the team AI seemed crappy, and apparently you need to be a cartographer to play.

I just ordered it from gogamer this morning. $27.90 for the "Purple Haze" pack, which is the original game + the new First Alpha expansion. Seemed like a good deal and I've heard a lot of buzz about it.

You guys are going to hear it from me also. The best f*ckin game of 2003! Just make sure you download the patches. The game was stable and such a treat to play. Everything that the past forum users have said is so true. The games sound is very good. The best that I've heard in years. The graphics are a bit rough, but the foilage is incredible. It's actually like your in the damn jungle. Check it out:

Get the M rated version from Gogamer.com The swearing just makes it so much more realistic. Btw, the expansion pak is next on my list.

Is there a way to patch the Teen rated version into M-rated? Seems that Purple Haze pack only comes with the Teen version. Actually, the standalone version from gogamer is Teen rated too it says.

I seriously doubt it. Your not really missing much, unless you like to listen to people curse. All it really is the guys say.. "You f*ckin gooks." Just some cursing, etc.. Nothing major.

Alright, well, I thought the demo sucked, so I bought the Purple Haze pack at Fry's, instead of the new Delta Force Team Sabre expansion.... And the full version sucks too.

Graphics are bad, sound messes up all the time... The game just isn't very good.
