Ok i have a question, but first heres my rig
Asus K8V SE Deluxe
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Giel 2GB RAM
Western Digital 120GB Hard Drive
ATI X1600Pro
Sony Dual Layer DVD/CD -RW
Antec 500W TruPower
Antec Digital Hard Drive Cooler
Logitech Wireless MX-700 Duo Key and Mouse

Ok my dilemna is this: Havent you ever had a game where you play hours on end to get to a bad ass cutscene, only to NEVER be able to watch the cut scene again unless you play to that point again?? There have been countless games including Warcraft 1-3 + their expansions and Final Fantasy, where theres no menu system that saves the cutscenes for later enjoyment.

Now my question is, is there a way i can record those scenes onto my computer? I mean my goal is to make myself a dvd or folder on my computer where i can go back and watch those scenes over and over without having to play again! If you know the steps please list the steps required including what program to go buy/install what cables i'd need to hook up to my tv etc.. i mean the whole shebang! thanks!

So all i would do for PC games,is run the game, wait for the cutscene, then with some type of video program in the background, record the segment, and save it correct?

Now for the ps2 games i would connect the tv to the video card and then do the same thing as above correct?

Also can i do that with the x1600pro? or not? if not is that the only way i can do what i want, is through the video card??
