I download via torrents TV shows to watch.
Lately I have noticed while playing in either VLC or WMP 11 in XP Pro, that the video may occasionally stutter a few sec/slow down.
I have two drives that I have partitions on. I thought maybe it was just defrag needs so did both/all partitions a few days ago. It didn't help.
I ran chkdsk on the C and H (one video download spot) partitions (checked both boxes) to see if that would help. No.
I moved one file to the larger, newer drive to see if the older smaller drive was going bad. It still will skip/stutter.
It seems unlikely both drives would be going out at the same time (?).
Any ideas?
