Videos are messed up

I don't know how or when this happened. I was trying to watch a video on gamespot and it looks like the videos are negative images. So I tried some other videos allready saved on my hd and the same results. I tried using different video players as well. The only kind of video that seems to work is quicktime.

Do I need to re-install some codecs or something? I don't see how 3 different codecs could all suddenly be messed up.

I appreciate it.

Try installing the lastest video driver first. If it happens on multiple types, it is usually not a codec issue. If green blotchs are part of it, it is highly likely to be a video driver issue.

I just did install a beta video driver recently. That never even crossed my mind. (getting good game performance with it :-D)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's the driver now that you mention it.

Thanks.

you got a codec screw . happens when people install all thoes crapy codec pack... advice :
1.Uninstall All Codec from Add and Remove
2. Just get Combined Community Codec Pack , its the best configured noob friendly nuscrew up your computer codec pack

Or this maybe a Video Driver issue which i dought
