I cant figure out what settings are optimal for what...its basically just a million settings i dont understand. I tried encoding a small DVD and it took over 2 hours. Any idea what to do or any tips or anything?

Each setting usually has descriptions with it. Just use it for what it says. Like TV, anime, etc... And whether ur encoding a small, or big resolution DVD, it's still gonna take several hrs to complete.

And hey, it's free. So don't complain. 🙂
 
well...besides space reasons, why wouldn't i want it to be set at 740x320 (highest res you can on videora) and all the highest bit rates, hz, etc?
