Videocard on new harddrive, question

I installed a GeForce 3 on my new PC today, and is it normal to only have 16 and 256 color mode available when you get done loading windows (before you load the drivers in).

I was just wondering, after I installed the drivers, all was ok.

Yep, that's right.. it didn't already have the drivers for your card, so it loaded a standard driver (i.e. crappy) that would work until you installed the correct one.
