Videocard fan stopped

Hi,

My Gainward FX500 videocard fan stopped intermittently. I replaced the fan with a Iceberq5 and then the Coirsair ram sticks failed the same day. Coincidence? Please advise.

It is not likely but possible. Are the ram and slot close perhaps you hit the ram when you removed the video card?
 
Did you bumb something or move something installing your video card? How do you know its failed.. explain 😀
