VIDEO: what need's to be done?

if i wanted to compress dvds, what do i need? tivo, compression program...?? i want to be able to fit it on one cd. plz help!

www.tomshardware.com look under tom's guides, digital video. You should find a pretty good article about using flaskmpeg and divx to convert a dvd to a video cd. You'll need a lot of pc horsepower and it takes a fair amount of time. Good Luck!
