What component(s) is responsible for delivering a good video / TV signal? How do you get rid of the "sticking" and "freezing" on (eg) TV signal?

n the case of your rig (sig) It could be the signal, DVD decoder or drivers. It looks like you have the right components for a nice MCE rig. Is it live TV viewing, recorded TV, or video playback in general?

What DVD decoder are you using? You can use THIS handy utility from Microsoft to check your DVD decoder, switch it, or see if its MCE compliant or not.

Provided you have a good broadcast source signal (check with your TV or VCR), then it likely comes down to your drivers for your TV tuner, or the DVD decoder.

Did you check your decoder with the utility I linked for MCE compliance?
