Video (TV) In software?

I have a Ti4200 VIVO and am looking for some software so I can play my Gamecube on my computer.

I've always used ATI's software for my ATI card. Can't find any Nvidia software for this card 😕

I like DScaler. You might have to play around with it for a little bit to get everything set up though.

I tried it but got an error code saying "no suitable hardware". The help file said it would only work with a certain chipset. From the help file:

Almost any card (and that means A LOT) based of former Brooktree (now Conexant) chips including bt848/878/879 will work for video only. Why those ? These chips are easy to program (there has been A LOT of software based on those) and are very cheap. This means many manufacturers have (and are still) produced cards based on those chips.

I was searching around in the display properties and I saw that this has a Phillips TV Tuner, so I don't think it will work with Dscaler...?

I used my ATI TV Wonder PCI with DScaler and it worked fine. In the hardware set up, select the Philips Tuner.

Dscaler won't even start. I get the error code saying No Suitable Hardware and then the program shuts down 😕

Power VCR recognizes the nvidia TV tuner unlike all the other software I've tried.

Looks like it might work. Haven't hooked up a cable yet though.

Do you have the Nvidia WDM drivers installed? (I used the Gainward 1.11 ones since back when I first did this the nvidia ones were bugged)

I use TV Viewer for this. Shareware that gives you notices every once in a while, but only $10 to register it (I did.) I've used it for the same purpose as you, gamecube!
However between gamecube's analog signal and my ti4400's tv in it wasn't all that much to look at :/

edit* TV *Viewer* w/ link
