Video Turner + Counter-Strike

My friend has a video turner he is going to bring over and I have:

1024MB DDR333
2.20 celeron
80gb HD
Maxtor 7.2kRPM hd
xfx 6600GT 128 4x AGP

and I want to get some video, how would I go about doing this, any tutorials or equipment guides? also what are some good video editing programs.
 
i know you can do demo's in counterstrike, without the tv tuner. you like type the console command like demo_start and demo_stop or osmething similar to that.
 
I'm going to assume you have s-video out and I'm going to assume his tuner has a s-video or rca in.

You connect your s-video out to his tuner then from there he just has to use a tuner program or capture program (software that came with it, virtualdub, windows movie maker). He sets it on s-video then hits record while you try to knife people or whatever.
