i am trying to use adobe premier and encore to make a dvd. i just need to take the video i have, cut a couple parts, add chapter markers, and create the splash screen for the main menu and burn a dvd. i cut and created the markers in premier, but how do i finish?

Don't know. I personally record TV in mpeg2, cut the commercials out with the womble mpeg-vcr software, and then just bring it into Encore. In Encore, you can create the chapters without using Premiere. Anyway, that's the simple method I use.

Not an expert here as I do not use Premiere. I suspect that in Premiere you would export the timelines as an elemental stream and then pick it up in Encore. Check File for an Export or Send setting. Check Encore for a File Import listing.

But really, the best bet is RTFM or F1 in Premiere. 🙂
