What they think about Gilmore Girls:

"Though many episodes of Gilmore Girls focus the relationship between Lorelai and Rory, as well as their relationships with Lorelai?s parents, the show is not very family-friendly. While there isn?t any violence on the show, viewers should be prepared for harsh language. The use of such words as ?bastard,? ?bitch,? ?jackass,? ?ass,? ?hell,? ?damn,? ?screw,? ?crap,? and euphemisms for f--k have earned Gilmore Girls a yellow rating in this category. In addition, Gilmore Girls receives a yellow light for its casual treatment of sexual material. In more than one episode, Rory is seen in bed with her boyfriend, Logan. After Luke accepts Lorelai?s marriage proposal in the season premiere, they toast their engagement with a hastily acquired Zima. The next morning they are shown in bed together, and Lorelai says ?We should drink Zima and have sex every night.?"

DEAL OR NO DEAL

They must be watching the special "convent edition" (since what the models usually wear would be considered a "no-no" in their book)

I think the FCC abused its power if all the complaints were web based. I hate those stupid christian b@stards who try to ban everything.

BTW....I'm Christian. I just hate the radicals. It reminds me of the Marklar episode of SouthPark and the 700 club trying to raise money for an intergalactic cruiser. It really made me mad.

Why is this amusing? Why does everyone think Christians just hate popular TV shows? I don't think the Christian groups are trying to keep everyone from watching these shows, they're trying to make it easy for parents to see what's in the shows to make their own decisions about what their kids can watch. If I was a parent of a 8 year old and had never seen Gilmore Girls, I'd read that review and say that my kids aren't old enough to be watching it.

EDIT: ok, so some Christians go overboard and email the producers and broadcast companies getting mad about it. Don't stereotype all Christians based on that example.
