Finally!! I had never seen that video before, even after all the hubbub at the supra forums.
Not too shabby, gotta respect the Walser. One of the few Supras in the world that'll touch a GXSR. Granted, with a little shot of NOS on the bike it might even it up, but that car would be damn nice to own! :Q

Nope. Dont buy it :)

If I am in sixth and doing 70 and you catch me off guard you will beat me. I am doing something like 3500 rpm (I think). That is loafing at the low end of the power curve. (redline is bout 11k). I can do 80 in first. So if I know some killer vehicle is going to race me, I will be in second or third at that speed. Bye Bye! :D

Edit- Let's try that from a red light :p

that is what i was thinking, the guy had to be in sixth or something, the video was to dark to see anything so i cant see his foot, but i am guessing this guy aint used to riding hard.

Edit:typed fifth meant sixth:eek:

Motorcycles aren't great on the roll...

I'm not really surprised. Supras can make crazy power like that.

Any car that can give a bike a run for its money is FAST.

And still, comparing bikes and cars is lame. The power to weight ratio is a major advantage.

EDIT: The race happened 3 times, and you can hear the horn beeping to start the races. The bike rider was fully aware he was going to race, and had plenty of time to prepare. In short, he got burnt!

Bah. I agree w/Hayabusa Rider; I don't buy it either. So the Gixxer got beat (not stomped) in a roll on from about 70-80mph. Big deal. The guy on the bike obviously doesn't know how to ride. If I was on that bike, I'd slam down into third, upshift to fourth at about 120 or so and be gone before the guy in the car could hit the NOS button.

Also "let's try that from a stoplight." Thank you. :)

I wonder how often that Supra owner has to do rebuilds on the motor and tranny.

There's another video out there titled TT TA vs 1100.mpeg can be found on Kazaa usually. Similar race altho the guy says the name of the bike he didn't race. He was racing the Yamaha Fireblade and says gsxr 1000. Still a good run too.
