what causes momentary freezes to happen in 3d apps is it memory problems or some sort of agp bus issue? and can it be fixed?

PCI Latency comes to mind. Article
Try Powerstrip or PCItimer to do some adjusting to see if anything helps. Peace.

4.5 cats do that to me in COD but 3.9 are smooth as silk.

stepped back to 3.9 cats and lost about 100 3dmarks and about 350 aquamarks so i swithced back. i lowered my vga card latency using power strip and that seemed to help some. what are the best clock speeds for this card can anyone tell me?
