I got this old-ass comp on my LAN which is not even capable of decoding modern codecs like divx. So, I was wondering if I could decode and stream the video from one of the better comps to it. The LAN is a 100BT, so it should be fast enough to carry fullscreen video.
I intend the video stream to be unencoded, uncompressed, just pure video data, like a .wav file instead of an .mp3 file.
Any ideas how I could do this?
Posting in networking was no help, so I came here.
