Weird, all of my potato guns are made out of pvc and have 4-6' barrells

that seemed like a pretty weak potato gun. Mine puts huge dents in a solid metal table I shot it out.

No crap my potato gun I used to have probably coulda broke some bones, would have never shot it at a person cause it would have caused SERIOUS damage.

I would use bugspary, hair spray or propane in mine.

It seemed to work pretty well for its size. Well built, IMO. I would never shoot anybody with a full size potato cannon, that could cause serious problems. I've built a few, the last one I built had a 4x16" chamber and a 2"x5' barrel.

I built a potato gun that could shoot a steel pipe through (as in - in one side and out the other) a pretty large tree trunk. I'm certain it'd kill you if you took a chest or headshot from it.
