I thought virtual dub might have had the feature but looked and couldn't find it. Anyone know of some software that will do what I'm asking? Thanks

I am pretty sure you can do that kind of stuff with Premiere, or any editing package that includes rotating effects (in Premiere, look for transistions that spin into the frame... you should be able to set one of those up to be constantly 90 degrees).

In Virtualub (1.4.10):

Load your video file, Then:
*Video>Filters>Add>Scroll down and pick "Rotate" or "Rotate 2" depending how you want to rotate.

Using full processing mode (video) use the compression codec you prefer and save as AVI.

ahhh success!
