Video quality is bad

Hello, all of my other games work flawless except for Battlefield 1942 the image qualityis really horrible. The text is all messed up and the graphics arent as good as they should be. Im running at 1600x1200 at max setting with 4x AA and 8 AF.
My specs:
AMD 3500
BFG 6800 ultra oc
MSI K8n Neo 2 plat
1 gb corsair

Have you adjusted your OpenGL settings from the Nvidia control panel? Are there any patches for the game? Have you tried without AA and AF?

Make sure you have the game set to 32-bit textures and the graphics card set to 32-bit "True Color".

Finally, try a different set of drivers, using a driver cleaner to properly remove the old drivers.
