This does not apply to every website and I do not know why it does this. When I view some videos online the colors are all distorted as if it were in infared or something. Video google does not have this problem at all and I wonder if it has to do with firefox or some plugin. I would really appreciate any input on how to solve this problem. It is aggravating not being able to view many videos because of such a stupid problem.

Are you using Windows Media Player? I had the same problem once, and I couldn't get anything to fix it. I upgraded from WMP9 to WMP10, and the issue disappeared.
 
Problem fixed. Thanks a lot! I never use windows media player (other than when I view an online video) and never would have thought about upgrading it.
